Important Security Update
Temporary Suspension of Public-Facing PHP Services
Dear Frozen Lake Customers,
We're writing with another important update regarding the critical PHP vulnerabilities disclosed earlier this week.
As previously communicated, Frozen Lake has deployed the latest PHP security patches across our web hosting infrastructure. However, our Network & Security Operations Center (NSOC) has since observed a small number of attempted attacks targeting customer systems.
While our systems have been patched, we are not comfortable relying on those patches alone given the activity we've observed.
Out of an abundance of caution, we've made the decision to temporarily take all publicly-facing PHP services offline until we have a security resolution we're confident in.
We recognize this is a significant step, and we don't take the decision lightly.
Services Affected
The temporary shutdown includes, but is not limited to:
Frozen Lake VoIP & Cloud Management Systems — Web-based management access will be unavailable. VoIP calling services and underlying hardware will continue operating.
Frozen Lake Cloud VPS & Infrastructure Management Portals (Ground Control) — Management portal access will be temporarily suspended.
Frozen Lake Web Helpdesk & Knowledgebase — Web-based support and documentation portals will be unavailable.
Frozen Lake Web Agency & Associated Platforms — Including GoalPath™, Crystal Sites™, and Impulse Learning Management System.
Additional PHP-based services may be taken offline as our team continues its assessment.
